Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have gone through CT KUB without contrast The below are findings Could you please guide Mild Pelvicalyceal fullness is noted on the right side without evidence of urolithiasis . This finding may be secondary to recent passage of stone Right Sided extrarenal pelvis is also seen The urinary bladders apperars normal without any intraluminal calculus or wall thickening Appendix is visualised separately & appear unremarkable The rest of the visualized abdominal viscera appear grossly unremarkable on this unenhanced examination
Only abnormal finding is Mild Pelvi-calyceal fullness on the right side without evidence of urolithiasis. It means there might have been some stone in your ureter causing obstruction and mild dilatation of renal pelvis and calyceal system of right kidney but the stone must have passed out in urine,so only the residual sign of obstruction (temporary) is present without any ureteric stone.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care. All the best.
Regards,
Dr. Tushar Kanti Biswas, Internal Medicine Specialist
