after a CT Scan There is a rounded density within the inguinal canal on the left, incompletely imaged, likely representing enlargement of the spermatic cord, or spermatic cord mass. Clinical correlation is suggested. What are the chances of this being a malignant ?
There are many causes of the enlargement of the spermatic cord. Some of the possible causes can be; testicular torsion. Abnormally enlarged veins in the scrotum.
Acute inflammation of the testes called orchitis. The chances to be malign are minimal.
