What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

My husband just received a CT scan, results stated he had a focal thickening of the rectoid? 10 x 8cm Dr. stated it is probable colon cancer. He is having a colonoscopy done,next week..has lost a lot of weight..the size of the mass.. curable?...or to far gone? Thank you!
