What Does This CT Scan Report Of Brain Mean?

Thank you so much. I just went through a Cardio version recently, and there are any number of things ailing my heart; however, I had a CT scan of the brain, and the report said the following: There is prominence of the sulci and ventricles, consistent with parenchymal involutionnal changes. There are periventricular and subcortical white matter rhypodensities, most compatible with microvascular ischemic changes. No definitie loss of the gray/white matter.

Hello, as I start I would like to reassure you that there is no serious problem with the CT scan report.
The involution and prominent suicide are due to age related degeneration of the brain. It is not going to acutely affect your day to day life.
The white matter change s are due to generalised atherosclerosis, something which has affected your brain and heart too.
In general terms these are mini strokes, though you may not have any symptoms however it's best to treat so as to prevent future major stroke.
A blood thinner as in aspirin and cholesterol medication from statin group, should be started with consultation with of your physician.
You may get back to me through HCM for any further clarification.
