Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an ecg one my results were: Ventricular Rate: 96 Atrial Rate: 97 P-R Interval: 164 QRS Duration: 76 Q-T Interval: 348 Q-T Interval (Corrected): 440 P Wave Axis: 46 QRS Axis: 39 T Axis: -23 Interpretation Text: Sinus Rhythm Early Precordial R/S Transition Nonspecific T Abnormalities Inferior Leads Is this bad?
Your Atrial rate & P-R interval as shown in EKG are within normal limits. QRS duration and Q-T interval are also more or less within limits. P wave axis & QRS axis are okay. T Axis - 23 is indicative of Nonspecific T Abnormalities Inferior Leads. T wave changes are non specific. It can be due to anxiety, stress, positional changes, hyperventilation or taking hot or cold beverages.
Maintain your potassium, sodium level. Stay adquately hydrated so that your body electrolyte system works well. Avoid stress & addictions if any. Avoid oily junk food. Switch to healthy lifestyle. Sometimes, T wave abnormalities may be indicative of hypokalemia or Ischemia. You are suggested to stay connected to your treating cardiologist so that any CAD can be managed at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
