Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am in need of a total hip replacement. My pre-surgical scheduling EKG came back with the following result: Possible right ventricular conduction delay [RSR (QR) in V1/V2]. Borderline ECG. Is this anything that will prevent the surgeon from scheduling my joint replacement?
You need a 2d echo and cardiologist opinion.this will tell about your cardiac reserve. This ECG finding is insufficient by itself to defer your surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
