Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is an x-ray examination of a woman's uterus and fallopian tubes by means of fluoroscopy and a contrast material, to know about the uterine cavity and patency of Fallopian tubes.
From the HSG report you have enclosed, the following entities can be inferred:
The left Fallopian tube seems to be patent as there is evidence of peritoneal spill. But there is evidence of partial blockage as well. There is no features to comment from the report about the right Fallopian tube as well as the uterine cavity.
The chances of fertilization is possible only if both the tubes are patent completely as the sperms of your partner can enter the Fallopian tubes to meet and attach to the ovum.
If one side is patent and other side is blocked partially/completely, the chances of conceiving reduces accordingly.
Provided other factors remain normal and favourable, you can try naturally for about 6 months to 1 year by timing intercourse around the period of ovulation, and give a chance to happen naturally.
It the problems persists, and you are anxious to conceive, it would be advisable to go for assisted reproductive technique like Intrauterine insemination (IUI) or Invitro fertilization (IVF).
Kindly consult Infertility specialist in this regard for proper advise and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
