Hi,
Great, the report says all is normal in
HSG report. To detail out the report as asked by you, following are the explanations:
- HSG means
hysterosalpingography, in this case, a radio-opaque dye in inserted in the
uterine cavity and wherever the dye spreads and flows. An X-ray will show its white delineating the cavity and tubes
-
Uterus interior is absolutely normal showing normal shape and size, there are no lumps within say like fibroids or so
- The fallopian tubes which connect the uterine cavity to the pelvic area for transportation of sperms and fertilized eggs is also absolutely normal
- There is no blockage for which this test is done
- Since the fallopian tubes are patent, the dye goes to the
pelvic cavity and is seen as spillage
Thus, it is great that the report is absolutely normal for all the parts to be seen during this procedure.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
