Free peritoneal spill is seen on this side. There is mild dilatation of the fimbrial end of the right fallopian tube, free peritoneal spill is seen. What does it mean?? What my report says plz answer me.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The following things can be inferred based on the HSG report findings you have furnished. 1. On the left side, there is moderately marked dilation of Fallopian tube at the fimbrial end. This is considered as normal. Free peritoneal spill is seen. It states that the Fallopian tube is patent. 2. On the right side, there is mild dilatation of Fallopian tube at the fimbrial end. This can be considered as normal. Free peritoneal spill is seen. Hence, it states that the Fallopian tube is patent. From the above findings it could be concluded that dilatation on both sides are normal and the tubes are patent on both sides. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
