i got my hsg results...uterine cavity is seen uniformly filled c contrast. it is normal in size and has defined outlines .no filling defect or adhesion are seen in the cavity. 2 Right Fallopian tube is seen along its coarse till its fimbrial end. even after 2 attempts of injection no peritoneal spill is seen along right side . 3 Left Fallopian tube is not visualized at the cornual end .even after 2 attempts of injection, no peritoneal spill is seen along the left side
Hello, Thanks for writing to HCM. After going through your HSG report, the following things can be noted: 1. Uterine cavity and uterus is normal with respect to size and contour. 2. Right Fallopian tube appears to be better as the course till the ovaries is normal. But since there is no peritoneal spill, it appears that there is a block in the beginning of of it. 3. Left Fallopian tube is not visualized because there is a block in it. It could be concluded that right tube has a partial or near complete block and left tube is totally blocked. In such cases, it is better you plan for Invitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure, if you are planning for a baby. Hope this information is useful. All the best.
