What Does This MRI Report For Injured Knee Indicate?

Hi ! A couple of weeks back I injured my left knee while dancing and have been facing severe pain. The initial diagnosis was of a ligament sprain and I took complete rest. However when the pain didn t stop I got an MRI done. The MRI said the following - IMPRESSIONS: 1.grade 1 signal in posterior horn of medial meniscus 2.patella Alta is noted 3. Crucial element and collateral ligaments are normal 4.articular cartilage in patellofemoral and femorotibial compartments is intact

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It’s normal, there’s nothing to be concerned about, you just need to take proper rest. Take Dolfre DT, it may upset your stomach so I suggest you to take pantoprazole and ondem. Hot sponges can also be effective.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
