What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

my mri results say: Medial meniscus: There is a trizonal horizontal linear tear in the posterior horn which extends to the inferior articular surface. The tear is approximately 3 cm in length. There is a small adjacent peripheral 0.4 cm cyst. Diffuse adjacent soft tissue edema is seen posterior to the meniscus as well as. my apt isn t till next week and I want to know what this means in English.

It means ligament of your knee joint is teared, which causes instability and joint pain, locking of knee joint while walking, you need Arthroscopic surgery that is Menisectomy for the same,
