Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My father underwent a tumor removal surgery from his UB..biopsy suggests that muscle fragment suggestss invasion.MRI report-nodular wall thickening of left posterolateral wall of UB seen measuring about 7-10mm also involving left UV junction, however no evident left hydroureleronephrosis seen-D/D mitotic/inflammatory.please suggest what to do???do we need to get his UB removed or is there any other option???
There is an abnormal thickening of urinary bladder wall. It might be due to recurring infection and inflammation but the possibility of a cancer can not be ruled out. Cystoscopic biopsy is done for such patients.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
