Hello, Thank you for using Healthcare Magic in such a situation. Your MRI report is suggestive of chronic degenerative changes of the lumbar spine (multi-level disc bulging, oteophytes and ligament flavum hypertrophy). A mild posterior disc protrusion is evident at L5 -S1 level, but of little clinical significance and not indicating surgery. Be careful to avoid weight lifting or sudden body movements. In case of severe pain you should take a rest together with any NSAID such as Ibuprofen 3×/day associated with a muscle relaxant such as Muscoflex 3×/day, for 3 days. Physiotherapy will be helpfull as well. If there is something else you need to know, please feel free to ask me. Thank you. Dr. Juarda
