What Does This MRI Report Of Disc Indicate?

At L4-s, I have desiccation of the disc. There is inimal, central posterior protrusion of the disc at the inferior aspect of the interspace. Neural foramina are patent. At the L5-S1, there is also desiccation of the disc and minimal central posterior protrusion of the disc. There is also a small disc protrusion into the inferior aspect of the left neural foraman. This does not have direct contract with the nerve root. What is wrong with me because I do not understand.

Hi,

I have read your MRI report which suggests disc dedication at l4/ l5 and l5/s1 level. But there is no thecal and nerve root compression so this can be treated by medicines and physiotherapy. But final opinion can be given by seeing MRI films.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
