Hello,
You are diagnosed with first degree anterior slip of C3 C4 vertebrae. The anterior curved
cervical spine associated with degenerative changes in the lower cervical spine (C5C6). Presently you are experiencing
severe pain in the neck (L) and collar bone. Get connected with a GP or Orthopedics. Your treatment will be given conservative treatment, NSAIDS and muscle relaxants.
Physical therapy and exercises under a Physical therapist are helpful. Ice or
heat therapy (an ice pack or heated gel pack) is effective to reduce pain. Always take warm shower and rest between work. If conservative treatment fails, the treating doctor may recommend surgical resection of cervical osteophytes. To help improve the anterior curvature that is causing discomfort, exercises under a physical therapist can help to restore both function and strength to your spine and improve the shape of your cervical curve.
Your treating therapist may suggest extension compression, 2 way cervical traction to decrease chronic
neck pain, it may take time. In the meantime, take home made food rich in minerals and protein. Maintain healthy weight. Avoid oily fatty food.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
