I had an MRI done on my knee and this is a partial diagnosis from the reading: No cartilage loss at the tibiofemoral articulations, slight heterogeneity at lateral, greater than medial, tibiofemoral cartilage. Patellofemoral cartilage is without thinning, though there is heterogeneity and increased signal at cartilage centrally and superiorly at the lateral patellar facet, with some deep fissuring suggested. No knee joint effusion. Edema is noted at the suprapatellar fat pad. The course of neurovasculature is appropriate. Musculature appears unremarkable. No Baker s cyst. I m still in a lot of pain and wanted to know (in english) what all this means
