Hi, I got diagnoses in my MRI as following: - mild diffuse disc bulge l3-l4 level causing slight compression of anterior thecal sac. - mild diffuse disc bulge l3-l4 level causing slight indentation of anterior thecal sac. - Muscle spasm Please advise what is this and what should I do next.
There are mild diffuse disc bulging at lower lumbar spinal levels of the vertebral column , which indicates various possible issues as excess weight or body mass index, some sort of arthritis or else. Current guidelines would be: - Control of body mass index and body weight - Control of blood sugar and cholesterol levels - Avoid sudden bending or weight lifting - Assisted physiotherapy and exercises involving the back - Analgesic as muscle relaxant, tizanidine or else - Local application of analgesic spray or ointment containing diclofenac with menthol or else
