Right knee MRI results new radial tear at the free edge of the body and posterior horn. Mild extrusion of the body. Lateral meniscus , intact. Ligaments, ACL :Mildly increased signal with normal course of the fibers. PLC: Intact Medial & Lateral legaments:intact Cartilage : Medial compartment : Near full thickness cartilage loss. Lateral compartment : normal . Patellofemoral compartment : High grade cartridge loss with near full thickness fissuring of the patella and femoral trochlea. Joint space: Physiologic fluid. No intraarticular bodies.
* Though any report evaluation needs associated study of symptoms, I can quote here that underlying damage to structures is significant and one has to consult ortho surgeon for reconstructive plan discussion.
* Though primary relief with heating pad application and analgesic medications is the best option at present.
