What Does This MRI Result For Right Hand Indicate?
as MRI came it says my rt. hand has ligament problem. Scaphoid bone has mm more distance from the next bone because ligament has damage. Doctor suggest surgery. I have pain only when I push or list heay pan. Is there any cure without surgery. It is on my rt. hand wrist.
The various types and extent of ligament injury present in vivid clinical perspectives. The mild to moderate amount of ligament insult do heal over a period of time with conservative measures. Those are the surgical candidates in whom: - No response to conservative measures - Concern with more precision of anatomy reconstruction and alignment - Severe extent of anatomic disturbances from the day of injury - Inadequate results from current therapy
However, an adequate trial of anti inflammatory medications with assisted physiotherapy with expert physiotherapist are must before concluding surgical decision.
