What Does This MRI Test Result For Brain Indicate?

I received a result from my MRI Neuro brain without contrast, there it is: I just dont know what it all means, my doctor is ona sick leave, should i wait or go to the emergency? Aside whats normal... Their is poor fat suppression within the left orbit, limiting assesment of the left optic nerve and medial rectus muscle. Orbits are otherwise grossly unremarkable. Paranasal sinuses are clear bony calvarium is intact. Their impressions: Inflammatory changes within the bilateral masteoid air cells. The study is otherwise unremarkable. In particular, no space occupying lesion or mass effect.

Hi, to answer your question, there is nothing to be worried about at all. This looks like a normal MRI scan, however some inflammation on your sinus could suggest a sinusitis. It would have been more helpful if your provided the reason why the MRI was done so I could suggest more based on your problem, signs & symptoms. Take care.
