What Does This MRI Test Result For Cervical Spine Indicate?
Hello Dr I did MRI for the cervical Spine, The axial sequence results were, C2/3, C3/4, C5/C6 andcC6/7 have central disc protusion causing impression on the thecal sac. The problem is I cant sleep nor stand for a longer time, the pain is from the lower back to the buttock and moving down the left leg. Also the left arm when I raise it above my head it becomes numb and painful although I did the CTS surgical release 4 months ago the pains are unbearble. Kindly advice
Your lumbar pain ( back pain) indicates similar conditions - or may be little lesser like reduction in inter vertebral spaces due to various reasons.
Physiotherapy, collar/ lumbar support by collar or lumbar belt and occasional traction is the only routine remedy. Surgical release can't be done again n again and have risk factors too. Pain killer in case of ardent need be taken only. Relaxing gel may also be applied over affected area.
If I were your physician, I would advise you to try some ' vaatnaashak' herbal decoctions and some classic local applications to strengthen muscles to maintain spaces and control pain besides above support. No pain killers in Ayurveda.
Hope this answers your query.
May I be of more help please.
