What Does This MRI Test Result For Cervical Spine Indicate?

I had MRI taken on date 31 December 2015 which shows following:Posterior bulging of C3-C4 and C5-C6 intervertebral discs (propensity left side) causing indentation over ventral aspect of cervical dural theca. What does this all mean and what might be an expected treatment for this? Also please tell side effect of those drugs(medicine).

Hi,

You have problems in your disc and you should take rest and medication for some time. A collar would also work. if these measures fail you may need surgery.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
