What Does This MRI Test Result For Cervical Spine Indicate?
MRI results road based disc osteophyte noted causing some mild contouring flattening the cord centrally.Foramina demonstrates moderate narrowing bilaterally-C3-4.C4-5 same as above,but more marked stenosis.C5-6-Lesser disc and osteophyte seen with some mild contouring but no significant compression of the cord.Foramina demonstrates moderate to marked narrowing to the left and mild to the right.Exiting root involvement to the left.Borderline stenosis.C6-7-disc and osteophyte broad based without cord involvement.Mildbto moderate degenerative neural Foramina narrowing both sides.Level 7 is okay.Would just like a better understanding of all of this in laymens terms.Get a lot of headaches,neck pain and pain in my shoulder and arm with numbness.
Nerves come out of the spinal cord through foramina of the vertebra. In your case due to narrowing of them your nerves ar getting compressed and causing pain in your cervical region and arms. Regular physiotherapy and pregabalin 75 can solve your problems.
