What Does This MRI Test Result For Right Axillary Indicate?

In April of 2014 I had an US, MRI done on my R axillary. The tests came back Birad 4 and no hilum present. The mass was 2.6 x 1.3 inches. Had a biopsy that cane back B9. Found papers today saying I should be monitored every 3 months. Mass continues to grow. No one ever followed up. Missed my mamo this year. Does the B9 biopsy mean that I am in the clear?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Suggestive of a benign tumor. Breast biopsy report of B9 is suggestive of the growth that is not cancer. It does not invade nearby tissue or spread to other parts of the body.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
