Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This MRI Test Result For Spine Indicate?
Hi, This is my mri scan report 1. Loss of lumber lordosis is seen, which may be secondary to a muscle spasm.2. Disc dehydration with reduced disc height seen at the level of D12-L1.3. Mildly reduced anterior vertebral height seen at the D12 level.4. No frank disc herniation seen at any level.
From your description, I am of the opinion that lordosis (bending) of the spine is caused by muscle spasm, so taking muscle relaxants such as thiocolchicoside and topical application of muscle relaxants along with thermal massage and exercises will help to overcome it. Regarding the dehydration at the T12-L1 level, you can take Cartisafe. No major problems in Your MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
