What Does This Mantoux Test Result Indicate?

Hi sir I m vinodh, I gt mountex test done 2 days befor n gt my reports today , in reports it s showing induration is 14mm , is that a prblm......I m gng to abroad to pursue my higher studies, so th university has recommended me in gtng test done b4 entering to tht country....I m in a dielemma , help me

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, Mountex test mainly done for the microbial infection like tuberculosis but this may not be the alone confirmative test as long as the final diagnosis is concern no matter if it is positive (Induration of 14 mm may be positive ) if you are immunologically weak then it may be positive and this may not be sign of infection, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
