I leave in Dhanbad(Jharkhand)Pap stained multiple smear showing the superficial squamous cell are present with pyknotic nucleus and curled margin .some cell have koilocytic feature.the intermediate cell are present with mild change in nuclear cytoplasmic ratio.few parabasal cells are appearing in the smear.increased number of inflammatory cell and some red blood cells are present in the smear.the background is hazy.(impression:-showing inflammatory smear with mild dysplasia.sir please my help kindly.
The mild dysplasia could be due to infection. So don't worry about the mentioned report.
However, it's advisable to repeat pap smear at the yearly interval for screening as koilicytic atypia could be due to CIN 1 for which regularly screening needs to be done.
