Question? How choriodecidual separation and possibility of downs syndrome can be removed ?? Hi ! I m 16 weeks pregnant.. Usg indicates small choriodecidual separation . anterior placenta, maturity grade 1. Fetus length normal. Nt thickness 2.6 mm at 15 weeks 1 day. Can I continue pregnancy ?? What are the medicine s for repairing that separation and Reducing during Possibility of downs syndrome ?? Pls answer...

The placental separation can be managed on conservative basis with certain measures as:
- Strict bed rest
- Avoidance of strenuous activities
- Hormone therapy with progesterone and pregnancy maintenance via uterine epithelial changes
There is no way you can prevent Down's development, as it is genetically mediated.
