Hello,I was tested today for STI s as I ve had some slight bleeding with sex. I used to have this problem quite a bit with my other forms of birth control and am now using an IUD (4 years) and haven t had any trouble since. The last time I had unprotected sex was in October. Five days ago was the first time I ve had sex since that encounter and we did use a condom. I didn t have any symptoms at all of STI s or anything prior to five days ago. I still haven t had any other symptoms other than the slight bleeding. During the 8 months abstaining, I did use a vibrator to penetrate but didn t have any problems with bleeding. I purchased a UTI kit to see if anything is out of whack in other areas, and only had a slight chance for the Leukocytes and got a negative result for the Nitrites. I know I need to wait the 5-7 days until I get my results back but I m wondering if it could be something as simple as something bacterial or perhaps that it s been so long since I d had sex? Thanks.
