What Does This X Ray Report Indicate?

Chest xray shows bilateral calcified granulomas. I have ground glass effect after respiratory arrest secondary to metapneumovirus. This was dx in December 2013. I am still not healed. I have sever sob and poor pft results. My oxygen is pretty normal at 96. Horrible upper airway wheezing constantly. I am still on steroids. On advair as well. They are thinking this might be bronchiolitis obliterans. Do my symptoms seem consistent with that?

Welcome to health care magic.

1. Bilateral calcified granulomas - the possibilities can be due to the old healed infections.
2.Most common infection results in calcification and the location most common pathogen are tubercular.
3.Ground glass opacities and bronchiolitis are seen in infective / inflammatory reaction in the lung.
4.A course of antibiotic and a followup x-ray will be beneficial to monitor the changes.
5.For confirmative and definitive diagnosis can be made through the HRCT - high resolution computer tomography.

Good luck.
