General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The X-ray report indicates no evidence of any sudden or new problem found in the left knee. However, the report only shows the status of the left knee and does not mention the DJD (degenerative joint disease) of the lumbar back, which could still be causing pain.

Inflammation levels of 2.5 and difficulties with standing or sitting for long periods suggest the pain may not be solely due to the knee. Further evaluation may be necessary to determine the source of the discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
