What Does This X-ray Report Indicate?

I have had pnumonia and am currently waiting for a CT scan as the chest X-Ray showed a deep infection. I don t feel particularly ill other than a little tired. I have however got a near constant pain/ ache under my breast bone. Is this normal? It almost feels a little like a pulled muscle feeling?

Hello

Your X-ray findings suggests pneumonitis(lung parenchymal infection). It may be due to many causes and it may be bacteria or virus.
Pain under breast bone and muscle pain may be due to pneumonia.
You are rightly suggested for CT scan.
CT scan can assess enlarged lymph nodes, extend and pattern of disease, associated effusion etc.
It is very helpful in proper diagnosis and treatment.

Get well soon.
Take Care
