I had a compound fracture or of my left femur 42 years ago. I am experiencing an increase in upper leg pain and had an x-ray that said I had cortical thickening of the left distal femoral diaphysis consistent wirh known fracture history. What does that mean?
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints.It means you have a lesion present in the bone due to that you have pain. Please find my advice below-: 1)First make a surgical staging according to (Histologic Grade) ,(Site),& (Metastasis) as per Enneking system.
