1- Mild detroscoliosis at D12-L2
There is mild curvature of the spine at D 12 - L 2 levels to the right side.
2- Reduced bony density seen
The bone mineral density is reduced.
3- Patchy areas of
sclerosis seen in D11,D12 and L1 vertebra with loss of D11-D12 and D12-L1 disc space
There is some increased calcification in parts of small nones on the mid back region with degeneration of disc spaces between them.
4- The IV disc space between D12 - L1 is decreased
This is alsi a mention of the reduced disc space
5-
Osteophyte formation seen in visualised vertebrae
This means degenerative changes have taken place.
6- Patchy lytic areas seen in posterior end od 12th rib on right side possibility of old infective etiology to be ruled out
The right rib shows areas of bone expansion which may be due to an old infection.
In conclusion, you may need to see an orthopedician and get clinically examined. If the pain is severe then a
MRI scan of lower thoracic spine can be suggested to know the
nerve root compression at various levels.
