Hi Sir, I received my xray result. The impression of the doctor was Bilateral upper lang infiltrates. Consider koch s in etiology. Is it severe? Viral? I dont smoke, nobody s smoking in our house. I also have read that my upper lungs have hazy densities. Please help me, Sir. Thank you.
Hi & Welcome to HCM. Chest x-ray findings are suggestive of tuberculosis involving the lungs. It is not a viral disease but caused by a bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis and this infection spreads through air droplets while sneezing, coughing from an infected person. It is not a serious condition but you are advised to consult your physician for a full course of treatment ( 6 or 9 months) along with a high protein diet and increased intake of fruits and vegetables. Hope it will work.
