What Does This Blood Report For Thyroid Indicate?
Hi, I am writing for my wife (37Yrs). Early this month she had a blood test for Thyroid. The results as follows: 1). Microsomal (TPO) Antibody Titre: 1300 IU/ml [Normal Range: less than 60] 2). Thyroglobulin Antibody (ATA): 221 IU/ml [Normal Range: less than 60] 3). T3 (total) by CLIA: 87 ng/dl [Normal Range: 70-200] 4). T4 (total) by CLIA: 8 ug/dl [Normal Range: 5.5-13.5] 5). TSH: 2.31 uIU/ml [Normal Range: 0.3-4.5]. I am worried about the first two results as the result is way high. We are planning a ultrasound scan on throat soon. Expecting advice. Thx, Jomon

I really appreciate your concern, if this is thyroid dysfunction being suspected then free T3 and free T4 need to be estimated, for the treatment but it seems everything is alright and no need to worry about this more over clinical symptoms are matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
