What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

I ve been sick since March 2015. I got some type of food poisoning. I had diarrhea, fever... I can remember all my symptoms now. I was in the hospital for about 11 days on 4 different antibiotics through IV. Before March, I was healthy. After that incident, I ve never been the same and the illnesses I ve suffered since are hard to detect on a heathy person just from food poisoning. I got hemorrhoids, which I had to get surgery on. I have gastroparesis. I also have chronic interstitial cystitis I have frequent UTI s and I ve developed resistance to antibiotics. I ve had entercossous in kidney and I think it went into blood, not sure if went into bloodstream. Now, I m having more severe left sided flank pain. Some doctors say it is nothing while others say it is kidney stones. I am throwing up daily, loss of appetite, severe pain. My blood report is as follows: Glucose 95 Sod Lvl 137 Pot Lvl 3.6 Chl 101 Co2 21 Anion Gap 15 BUN 9 Crea 0.7 eGFR Black 60 eGFR Non-Black 60 Cal Lvl 8.9 Alk Phos 81 ALT 11 AST 17 Billi Tot 0.1 Alb Lvl 4.4 Lip Lvl 49 UA Test Amber Hazy UA pH 6.0 Glu neg UA ket trace UA pro neg UA bili neg UA uro 2+ UA blood neg UA Nitr pos UA leu neg UA WBC 0-5. /HPF UA rBC 0-3 UA bacteria many UA sq many UA mucous present MCV 78 Baso absol 0.1 Eos ab 0.5 Monocytes 5 MCH 27 HCT 35.5 HGB 12.2 These tests were from 9/15. I have other tests from hospital 08/30 and 06/2016. Some interesting facts: when I first got sick in March 2015 my liver was not functioning properly. It started to get inflamed. The same thing happened in June 2016. My liver and spleen were inflamed. In June 2016, I was hospitalized for entercossous in the left kidney. They gave Vanco in hospital for 7 days and zyvox 7 days out when released. When I started feeling sick again in August, they said I have E Coli infection in left kidney and UTI. It has been over 20 days now and I m still sick from last infection but worse. The pain is worse and I m throwing up all the time. I went to Los Angeles on Tuesday to see a kidney specialist. He said he thinks I have stones and some stones will not show up on Ultra Sound. I ve been suffering for so long. It s quite discouraging. I usually have a good sense of humor but this pain is so bad. I m not sure what to do. All I can do is keep repeating: it hurts.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Repeated bacterial infection with the suggestive reports indicate grave suppression of the underlying immune system which is responsible for fighting off the various type of infectious agents. Discuss the need of evaluation of auto immune antibodies of some sort during your next planned visit to consultant to better focus on the issue in depth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
