Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concerns.
Based on the history given you seem to have developed liver
injury and high blood
cholesterol levels apparently due to alcohol consumption.
I would advise you to
consult a gastroenterologist for proper clinical evaluation and certain lab tests such as abdominal
ultrasound scan to assess the severity of the liver disease.
You also need certain dietary modifications such as:
1. Total abstinence from alcohol (or alcohol containing beverages),
smoking, fatty meals, fast and junk foods, etc.
2. Eat home cooked food, increase the intake of vegetables and fruits, take plenty of oral fluids.
3. Regular exercise, try to loose your body weight if you are obese.
If you stop taking alcohol or its beverages and follow the diet modifications as suggested above it may take 2-3 months to restore to normal liver function tests.
Hope these answer your query.
