General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the laboratory test reports you have furnished, the following things can be inferred.
1. FSH levels with 6.24 mIU/ml is within normal range.
2. LH levels with 18.67 mIU/ml is towards the higher side of normal.
3. TSH levels with 3.34 mIU/L seems to be fine within normal range.
There is noting to be worried and kindly take medication as advised.
Duphaston contain 'dydrogesterone', which is a synthetic progesterone, which is helpful in conditions that a lack endogenous (naturally produced) progesterone. This would help in conditions such as PCOD to restore periods to normal and provide enough progesterone to continue pregnancy and prevent miscarriage if implantation takes place. Hence, it improves the chances to conceive.
Do the necessary follow-up as suggested.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
