What Does This Blood Report Indicate?
my husband has had a bad cough for weeks, he has also been tossing weight. Now after a routine blood test, we find his white cell count is .6,Red cell count is 2.69 Hematocrit is at .26 and platelets are at 86. what are the possible causes for these things to be occurring?

In acute infection platelet count can be decreased along with wbc count
Provide me your CBC report for commenting further
Your CRP investigation should be done and work up done as follow ...
_Auscultation
_chest x ray
_if needed sputum examination
_ASO titre
_PS blood examination
If needed specific antibiotic course can be prescribed
