Gud morning Dr. My son is 11 yrs and 9 months old his blood report says- Red Blood Cell-5.81,Lymphocytes-41, Red Cell Distribution-22.20 and T.I.B.C-498.00ug what does this mean i hope he is not sufering from any serious problem as a mother i am very worried as he is not growing as per his age group peers.kindly help and advice. It says anisopockilocytosis mild hyporchromia Thanks and Regards.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such condition could be due to low haemoglobin and underling cause of this need to be found out most of the time chronic infection may be the cause, most probably this could be gastrointestinal tract infection, other serious condition may be there in differential diagnosis, hope this information helps, take care.
