What Does This Blood Sugar Reading Of 264 Indicate?
Hi I have just got confirmed by dr that I am diabetic patients and my suflgar level is 264 and I want to know is this real bad or an emergency situation . Though I already started medication and excercise and maintain diet . Yesterday I went for Brian walk for around 50 min and I started getting pain in back is it. Normal

NO, this is not very bad nor is this an emergency situation
first of all let me tell you that diabetes is a chronic disease and even may be present for several years before being diagnosed also a single blood sugar reading may be important for diagnosis but actual prognosis does not depend upon your current blood sugar levels but on sugar level control you have obtained,better to go for hbs1c test which shows sugar control in last few months ,also duration of disease is important prognostic factor...
