WBC 12.8 RBC 4.44 Hemoglobin 11.1 Hematocrit 36.2 MCV 81.5 MCH 25.0 MCHC 30.7 RDW-SD 51.0 Red cell Distribution with-CV 17.7 Platelets 435.0 My doctor keeps ordering blood work and my numbers are typically the same every time, registering that they are abnormal. However I don t feel they are being addressed. Should I be concerned by the information or no?
The blood report shows low hemoglobin levels and raised RDW. I suggest you to get iron studies to assess the iron levels. Low hemoglobin level can be due to iron deficiency.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
