Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Doctor, My daughter is just 9 years old. She had a vaccine on 29th Oct. she has been suffering from hight fever (average 102 degree) for last 3 days, and as per doctor s prescription we are giving her a few medicines like NAM SAFE P for fever - Fevrex plus & OFM continuously from last 3 days But from last midnight her fever is not getting low even after giving medicines. I am concern about her continuous high fever (102 to 102.5) which is not getting low even after the medicines. also i realized that she feels pain in the stomach due to gastric problem (It might be due to her growing teeth) As per her blood reports: HB - 9.0 TLC - 12000 DLC - 65% Lymphocytes - 29% Monocytes - 04% Eosinophils - 02% TEC - 219 Please suggest me what should i do for further diagnose..
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the persistence febrile state with increase the WBC count then it could be some infection and bacterial infection need to be ruled out first and in differentia diagnosis it could be malaria, condition need to be treated accordingly, clinical examination is must, x-ray some time needed, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
