What Does This Blood Test Report Of A Pregnant Woman Signify?

I am 11 weeks 5 days pregnant. My WBC is 11.2 (3.8-10.8), absolute eosnophiles is 872 (15-500), MCH is 26.4 (27.0-33.0), MCHC is 31.7 (32.00-36.0) and RDW is 15.2 (11.0-15.0). All other bloodwork was normal. I had a partial molar pregnancy in Feb 2015 and I take montelukast (generic, singular) for asthma. The high eosnophiles are worrying me... What is my bloodwork indicating and is my baby in any danger?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Suggestive of eosinophilia due to asthma. Based on the history and the lab test results you seem to have eosinophilia (increased eosinophil count) apparently due to asthma which is an allergic condition. There is nothing to worry as this condition is harmless to your unborn baby.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
