Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello there i would like some advice on what to do with my recent blood test results, i currently have a high level IGE- E count which is at 4921. I have server atopic dermatitis which i have corticosteroid ointment for. If i stop taking it for 2 weeks my skin breaks out in dermatitis and sores on my skin . I also have acid reflux and i have server hayfever allergies which can last for days. Please help?
High IgE levels are associated with allergies. I suggest you to see your doctor to look for other causes like allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis. You need to undergo other tests like X-ray chest and some blood tests as well after proper consultation with a certified doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
