What Does This Blood Test Result For Muscle Pain And Fatigue Indicate?

I am a 56 year old female and have been suffering from severe muscle aches, joint pain, extreme fatigue and a host of other symptoms which have intensified over the past year. I also had rashes on my arms, chest, neck and chin this summer. The rash on my arm (which was the worst) was biopsied and found to be cutaneous lupus. I recently had blood tests done by a rheumatologist because my primary care physician suspected Systemic Lupus due to my symptoms and the results came back with a RNP of 2.9, Anti-CCP of 24. The results also indicated a slight Vitamin D deficiency and my urine test came back with a 1+ for hemoglobin. ANA was negative this time, but the 2 previous times I had blood tests done the result came back elevated. Any thoughts?

Hello,

The decreased levels of vitamin D can cause the joint pains that you are having. The raised levels of anti CCP can be related to lupus.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
