My mother Age 81. BP 150/80 dated 3/09/16 Recent MRI brain scan report: A small acute infarct in posterior limb of left internal capsule&globus pallidus, chronic white matter ischaemic changes in bilateral frontoparieto-occiptal white matter¢rum semiovale.Generalised cerebral&cerebellar atrophy. MRI whole spine screening. Cervical & lumbar spondylosis Anterior wedging of D12 vertebral body. Postero superior corner of D12 vertebral body is seen compressing the cal sac. No cord compression is seen. Posterior osteophytes in C4 to C7 vertebral bodies compressing ventral the cal sac. Posterior disc bulges at L4-L5 & L5-S1 levels. Treatment suggested: Vibrana D. 0-1-0 Telsartan 80. 0-0-1 Metal or ER25. 1-0-0 Dytor plus10. 0-1-0 Pantocid. 1-0-0 Ecosprin AV75. 0-1-0 Wal D3 capsule. Weekly 1
From your description I am of the opinion that due to hypertension, acute infarct occurred in the left side of the brain, other changes are age-related.
Even I. MRI spine indicates slipped disc, degeneration of vertebra at D12 level. Other changes are age-related. Your prescription is good and caters to all aspects.
