What Does This Chest CT Scan Test Result Indicate?
What exactly does this mean on my test results? Conclusion: 1. Mild biapical, right middle lobe and lingula fibrosis. 2. Moderate atherosclerotic vascular calcification of the left anterior descending coronary artery. 3. Right upper quandrant calcification 0.31 cm. Correlation advised. Layman terms.. I am being told I need a bronchoscopy.I have been coughing for at least six months, and I really feel I work in a sick building. I was very well before I started this job.
Unfortunately, your report shows that you have lung fibrosis which means a scar tissue in the lungs which will be non functional. Bronchoscopy and biopsy would be needed to know the reason for fibrosis.
